About Few Regrets [A Coach Bob Story!]
Amy is a planner, plotter and schemer. She and Bob recently turned sixty. It’s time to turn the page and move forward to the next chapter of their lives, or as Bob calls it, act three. Amy secretly puts the house on the market and begins packing for a move to the mountains. But her plans are disrupted when Willy, Athletic Director at the University, asks Bob to shake off his rust to coach one last game – the Rose Bowl. It’s been ten years since Bob walked the sidelines. He ignores warnings from Doc and reclaims the head coach role he excelled at. Tragedy strikes during the game and Bob finds himself in a casket, somehow able to hear people’s thoughts and speak telepathically to Amy. They are given twenty-four hours to say good-bye throughout the funeral and a meet-up Amy puts together for Bob’s buddies. It’s been fifteen years since the boys shared their successes and failures, to a group of friends that hold each other accountable to speak truth, learn from each other and find the right yardstick to measure their lives.
